When presented with a set of Psyche Locks over his quirky assistant Maya Fey, ace defense attorney Phoenix Wright fears he has reached an impasse. With no case, there is no evidence, and with no evidence, there is no possible way to break the locks holding young Maya's secrets within her heart. However, the spirit medium-in-training swears on her many stomachs that she did not eat Phoenix's, affectionately nicknamed "Nick", carefully-made and certainly delicious boxed lunch brought to him from Kurain Village by Maya's own cousin, Pearl Fey. She instead claims that she was tied to the office footstool and placed in the large chair by a mysterious, tall and surly man, who snatched Nick's free meal and proceeded to eat it before her eyes. It wouldn't be young Maya's first tall tale. Her Psyche Locks suggested as much this time, and with his trusty Magatama and a little help from a decorative feather given as a gift from a previous case, Phoenix Wright knows there is more than one way to crack a lock, and is determined to get a straight answer from the hungry acolyte, evidence or not.

Ohhhhh man this was a fun one. I had to unfortunately stop work on my Kanasta comic to work on this, but, I had a promise to fulfill to get this piece of work done, and while I'll admit that the break felt necessary, it was also a joy to take this one on. I've seen a significant lack of tickling media of the Ace Attorney ladies, and knowing the world would be a better place to live in if such things became more widespread, I desperately sought to do something to aid in the cause. What better way to start than with the series signature darling assistant, Maya Fey?

I can't even remember the last time I drew m/f. It was pretty nice to work with that again after so long! And hey, I sized this to fit perfectly upon my computer monitor, so I may just make this my desktop if I'm feeling ballsy. I wouldn't mind seeing Maya giggle her head off every time I turn my monitor on :D

Anyway, I do apologize that the comic is taking so long, but I sincerely hope you enjoy this piece.

Wonderful detailed and colored art. Looks like she's gonna be tickle tortured XD
:iconchaz-the-weasel:
I made sure to include "tickle torture" in the keywords, so I'd definitely say yes, that's exactly what's happening :XD: Thank you very much!

Ooops, I didn't see that. How embarrassing ^^;

Wow this came out so well! Maya is just a cutie and I love the expression on Pheonix's face he must be enjoying himself. OMG the chains, so much patience must have gonna into that. I suck at drawing them so I can only imagine what they'd look like if I tried to do them digitally. I also like your background, especially the window there with the light shining through it, very nice effect. Oh hell I like everything in this pic and I'm glad you showed me your progress as you were working on it so it great to see the finished piece^^ Definitely faving this~

...I could just swear we discussed about this idea years ago when the game was just released...or maybe I'm imagining that conversation...oh well XP

totally cute job with the scenario dude ^^ if this was an option in the game, we'd so breeze through it X3

Phoenix always loves messing with Maya XP I'm sure he took great joy in tickling the truth out of her! Those chains were a bitch, I won't deny it. But I also didn't work tediously on them. I admit I wanted to get it done, so they were a bit rushed, but at full-size (or even better, dA's auto-resize feature), they actually look pretty damn nice. I'm on the final case of the first game right now, and this drawing only makes me eager pick up Justice for All again for the Psyche Lock gameplay :XD: I'm also rather pleased by the background. It's not often I work with them, so I was happy to come up with something passable! I was happy to let you see how it was shaping up, and I'm very glad you liked seeing it :3 Thank you for commenting and faving, dear!

I don't doubt we did, I remember you taking on something similar with your "Draco Korecht" parody. But I don't think you ever did go through with it, and that story seemed a bit dark :c This suits Maya well, though, being her usual goofy self. And to be honest, the situation was a suggestion from a friend. I was glad to work on it :3 Thanks for the comment!
